Stacey is a trusted advocate for individuals facing criminal charges in the High Rockies of Colorado. She has local knowledge, extensive trial experience, and a track record of positive outcomes. Stacey will be by your side every step of the way, protecting your rights and making your voice heard.
Stacey spent over 12 years defending criminal cases as a trial attorney with the Colorado State Public Defender. She graduated from the transformative National Criminal Defense College Trial Practice Institute. She has taught trial advocacy courses, coached nationally ranked mock trial teams, and supervised law students practicing under the Colorado Student Practice Act. Her law students generously rated her as an excellent professor after just her first semester of teaching.
Stacey’s commitment to public service and social equity has long guided her path. Before attending law school, she taught high school students on the Pine Ridge Reservation, led projects as a Crew Leader with the Student Conservation Association, and coordinated programming for Native high school students through the Indians into Medicine Program. Stacey continues to devote a substantial part of her practice to representing indigent clients.
